ABOUT US
We are the Scarsdale Robo Raiders, an eight-year-old robotics team from Scarsdale High School. We are a close-knit team of talented engineers, designers, and programmers. We participate in the annual FIRST Tech Challenge, where we build and design a robot to complete specific tasks. Our goal is to inspire future generations and instill a love for robotics and the wider world of STEM.

ABOUT FIRST
We participate in the annual FIRST Tech Challenge (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology), an international competition in which teams are challenged to design, build, program, and operate robots to compete in a head-to-head robotics challenge.
FIRST MISSION STATEMENT:
"The mission of FIRST is to inspire young people to be science and technology leaders and innovators, by engaging them in exciting mentor-based programs that build science, engineering, and technology skills, that inspire innovation, and that foster well-rounded life capabilities including self-confidence, communication, and leadership"
